Mr. Elliot G. Pulham
President & Chief Executive Officer
Elliot Pulham was named president and chief executive officer of the Space Foundation in 2001. Pulham leads the premier team of space and education professionals providing services to educators and students, government officials, the news media and the space industry around the world. He is widely quoted by national, international and trade media in their coverage of space activities and space-related issues. Before joining the Foundation, he was senior manager of public relations, employee communication and advertising for all space programs of The Boeing Company, serving as spokesperson at the Kennedy Space Center for the Magellan, Galileo and Ulysses interplanetary missions, among others. He is a recipient of the coveted Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America - the profession's highest honor. In 2003, the Rotary National Awards for Space Achievement Foundation presented him with the coveted Space Communicator Award, an honor he shares with legendary CBS News Anchor Walter Cronkite and CNN News Anchor Miles O’Brien. Pulham is a member of the national board of advisors of the RNASA Foundation, a member of the national board of advisors of the Institute for Space & Security Studies, and a member of the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force Civic Leader Advisory Group.

Mr. Chuck Zimkas
Chief Operating Officer
Chuck Zimkas is the chief operating officer for the Space Foundation, responsible for the Foundation's operations and logistical support functions and the planning, coordination and execution of major Foundation events. He joined the Foundation in 1986. Most recently, Zimkas served as program manager for "Reaching for the Stars," and organized the first Space Adventure Concert highlighting Apollo 15 moonwalker Jim Irwin and the Colorado Springs Symphony. During his Air Force career of more than 26 years, he was selected as a United States Air Force Outstanding Airman. After Zimkas' retirement, Air Force Space Command dedicated its Enlisted Heritage Room in his honor. Zimkas remains active in national, regional and community activities.
Ms. Holly Roberts
Chief Financial Officer
Holly Roberts is the chief financial officer, responsible for managing the accounting, contracts and business functions that support the Space Foundation. Since joining the Foundation in 1987, she has developed the financial structure to meet the requirements of a multi-million dollar annual budget with provisions to accommodate government grants and contracts. She formalized the contracting functions and established budgeting and financial performance assessment procedures. Prior to joining the Foundation, Roberts was the controller for the election campaign of a Colorado gubernatorial candidate and a U.S. Senatorial campaign. She earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Kansas State University.
Mr. Jim Jannette
General Manager, Programs, Planning & Evaluation
Jim Jannette joined the Foundation as vice president of marketing and communications after relocating from Florida, where he was president of Watermark Strategic Communications. Jannette also served in the United States Air Force as a White House appointee under President Ronald Reagan, and as the assistant administrator for public affairs for the Federal Aviation Administration. He earned both a bachelor of science degree in education, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and a master's degree in English, graduating summa cum laude, from Ohio University. He also earned national accreditation as a Public Relations Counselor (APR).
Mr. Steve Eisenhart
Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications
Steve Eisenhart leads the policy and public affairs efforts of the Space Foundation. He is principally responsible for the development and coordination of Foundation policy positions and supervises the activities of the Foundation's Washington, D.C., office, including work with NASA, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Capitol Hill staff, the Departments of Defense, Commerce, State and Transportation, foreign embassies and other space advocacy organizations and associations. Previously, Eisenhart served as the Foundation's communications manager and director of communications and public affairs. Eisenhart is a former military public affairs official and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Ms. Elizabeth Y. Wagner
Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Elizabeth Wagner serves as a principal Space Foundation liaison to the commercial space industry in her role as the vice president for strategic partnerships. She is responsible for developing, growing and maintaining key customer relationships with member and potential member companies, and for the sales of corporate sponsorships at Foundation events. Prior to working for the Space Foundation, Wagner served as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Sykes Communications. She earned a master's degree in public administration from the University of Texas, LBJ School of Public Affairs, and a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University.
Mr. Marty Hauser
Vice President, Washington Operations, Research & Analysis
Marty Hauser is the Space Foundation's Vice President, Washington Operations, Research & Analysis. He leads the Foundation's enterprise that provides balanced and objective data and analysis for and about the civil, commercial and national security space community. Hauser previously served at the Pentagon as assistant director of Public Affairs, Secretary of the Air Force, and was the primary Department of Defense spokesperson for the Space Shuttle Challenger accident, recovery, and return to flight. He earned a bachelor of general studies degree in broadcast management and organizational communication from The Ohio University and a master of arts degree in mass communication from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Brendan Curry
Vice President, Washington Operations, Government Affairs
Brendan Curry serves as the Space Foundation’s vice president of government affairs. In this role he leads the Space Foundation’s government affairs efforts based in Washington, D.C., serving as principal interface with key customers, staff, and officials in the Administration, Congress, space industry and federal agencies including the Departments of Defense, Commerce, State, Education, Transportation, and NASA. Previously, Curry was the senior legislative assistant to Congressman Dave Weldon, M.D. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of Scranton and juris doctor of law degree from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law.
Mr. Iain Probert
Vice President, Education
As director, education enterprise, Iain Probert gives leadership to the education team, its mission and community outreach. Probert implements the Space Foundation’s flagship five-week Summer Institute program, and works directly with Space Foundation volunteers, sponsors and speakers in support of a multitude of education related events and activities. In addition, he is responsible for data collection and analysis associated with all education programs. Upon relocating from the U.K., he worked for the Boy Scouts of America and Learning for Life. Probert earned a bachelor of science degree in electronic and computer engineering from Thames University.
